Word Image

The word I choose was Minnesota. The reason I choose this word is because I grew up visiting Minnesota at least three times a years because I have grandparents that live up there. The state is beautiful. I took pictures of the water because it is surrounded by the beautiful Mississippi.

Faceless self-portrait

During this project we were supposed to take pictures or use pictures we have taken to represent how we interpret the description. For the first one I did was good morning and its shows how hectic my mornings are and on most days I will have to wake up early and work out. In the "When I Look Up" photo I tried to use a picture that has as many nature values in one picture, and I added black in white to it to show depth and the reflection in the water. Childhood memory's I choose to use a picture with a boat in it because when I was younger I would always go fishing with my grandfather and my dad every time I would go up to Minnesota. The shoe I had to take a picture of my shoe. The faceless self-portrait I choose this picture because I just got done wrestling and it shows that I wrestle. For the eyes I interpreted it a different way I thought it would mean and what I see, and yes I know its not summer anymore but, I usually spend most of the summer and year playing baseball. Food I choose to take a picture of what my favorite food is and I LOVE BURRITOS. For broken I used a picture of my friend falling after jumping of a jump during skiing. For landscape I used a picture of a small city called Marshalltown and the cornfield but we were supposed to have trees and dont worry they are in the background. Fierce I took a picture of my friend Tyler who was mad after I beat him in a video game. For tranquility I interpreted as a scene I thought it would be cool to do a picture of my dog and its a scene because every one is gathered around him watching him. The last one which is my favorite one was a picture of my friend in mid-flip and I used it for my speed because he is moving really fast.

Dummy Picture
Contact

We were supposed to take a picture of a dummy and place him in different styles and different forms. I made my dummy hanging, showing that you everyone needs to hang in there and preserver.

I used Flash or a source of lighting in every single picture. I always tried to set up the background differently and changed the set up objects in every picture. I think the black and white shows depth and texture to the picture. My favorite one is the last because it is just so simple but it looks nice. My least favorite one is the first one because I didn't realty like that pot on the right and it was really easy to take the picture. I didn't really think the pictures looked really well with color but, when I switched them to black and white they all looked sophisticated.

Double Exposure

For uniquely different I did a picture of my friend standing under light and a picture of the Mississippi River. Then I took a picture of Iowa corn fields and flipped it, this is one of my favorite cause it looks really cool. Then for two different world I did a picture of my friend snowboarding in the winter and a picture of Minnesota's summer. The my favorite one I think it looks really cool is a picture of the shadow of my hand and put a picture of my friend laying down. They I did a double exposure with leaves and another Mississippi Rover photo with a quote that describes me, because I have tunnel vision and i'm not done until i get what I wanted to accomplish.
